Brendan Power is a London based diatonic and chromatic player who.originates from New Zealand. He's been the guy who more or less singlehandedly brought modern harp playing into the Irish Music, spicing it up with influences of blues, jazz and country. Not only has Planet Harmonica met up with him in his house in London for a meaty interview, but we offer here short reviews of his entire discography, and Brendan himself wrote us a short article on the future of the Harmonica. There didn't seem to be much point in actually writing a biography since Brendan's website features an extensive one. On the other hand, Brendan sells customised harps and methods on his site that we did review.
